well you can put a 10% management fee in there for starters :rolleyes:🤬 and probably 50% on top of whatever the contractors who do it charge them 🤬🤬

Sounds abit fishy! I’d be interested to hear the true details of this, especially the prior meetings with the EA!!

A client of mine was absolutely wreckless with his sites and jobs, thought nothing of bulldozing half of hillsides out etc ripping hundred of trees out to make gardens bigger etc, but one area is a SSSI he was ridiculously scared of them! literally no one allowed near the area , only his pigs which was a pre arranged agreement to help the land grow & develop!

Does sound a bit like an arrogant landowner who just did as he pleased, having read some background on it all. Certainly not the first time he’s just rode roughshod over regs.

And yet block the busiest motorway in UK and cause millions of quid of carnage and you get a slapped wrist. No wonder this country's fkked.

Did he run an illegal tip as well or was he just relandscaping the edge of his fields onto the river?

A mate had a small paddock and cut the bank along the river every year after a few years ratty the water vole liked what he was doing so decided to make it home then other water voles joined he still cut the bank every year. Then a couple years ago he was cutting bank and along came plod and locked him in the cells for the afternoon for disturbing the water voles and told don't do it again

got family in Hereford near this guy, described as always being a bully and thinks can do what ever he wants, far to many ppl on farmer groups on Facebook crying over this, he was given a stop order then continued not like he wasn't warned

guys worth £25m £1.2m and 4 months in an open prison might teach him some humility

rules are there to protect it for everyone not just so he can do what ever he wants in this small mindedness

will have only pushed the flooding downstream few making out like he's some hero ffs!
