Bought the above from harford 3/4 years ago and worn out the tooth.emailed manufacturer asking about replacement tooth and got email back saying do I want the tooth,FFS.replied again but nothing.I’m assuming it’s a cat tooth but does anyone know what size it may be.it’s made for my ecr25d.will be calling digbits on Monday.anyone from harford reading this the girl who deals with emails wants a kick up the arse.

I kinda know what you mean. But I rang Evans and Reid the other day about tracks and the women there definitely knew what she was talking about. Tbf they probably get so many idiotic requests the receptionist probably has the job of filtering out genuine queries from stupidness.

Still not heard from harford so sent em another email saying not to bother and I’m going to digbits.then got a message saying person was on leave till tomorrow.why can’t someone else deal with issues.anyway called digbits and tooth was around £13 plus vat and postage around the same.said I’d call back when I got in for dinner and checked website again and using the shops section I ended up with tooth inc vat and postage for £7.79.glad I went for that option rather than phone order.big mark up for speaking to someone.will use this option in future.thank you digbits and harford,what the hell is going on

not only is that taking the piss ..... it about sums up the problem with most of the country's suppliers ... no idea how to form good customer relations

Bit of an update,tooth turned up today and was a cat 200 tooth and too small.would cost more to return than than it’s worth so that will live on my office desk as a paper weightgot on phone and started calling locally,first gurney reeve only about 6 miles away.yes we got them so of I went.no one knew who spoke to me and they could not help.next onto Ernest doe at wymondham and they don’t keep em either so of to watling jcb just up the road.only thing they had was too big so back home and on phone again.Ben burgess don’t keep them but can get them so largo plant was next call.they got the cat205 tooth which is apparently the one after telling them the socket size so of there tomorrow.fingers crossed.what a palaver.

That`s the problem I`m having at the minute, waiting for a part, I ordered it Tuesday last week off the dealer, they said the importers got it in stock, yet they`ve not received it yet. The importer is in Peterborough, not as if its the other side of the world

That’s really rubbish service.i bought a yoshimura exhaust for a Suzuki gsxr 750 around 1999/2000 from the USA.i called them and ordered and I had the product with me in 24 hours.and everyone evolved was more than helpful,unlike a lot of people in the uk who don’t care at all and that’s being polite

When I had a dodge Ram, I ordered an exhaust from the States, 2 working days later I had a coffin sized box on the yard with a full front to back system.
The annoying thing with this part, I`m pretty much out of action while waiting

used to buy a lot of Kawi bits from breakers in the States ... rarely waited more than 3-4 days for them to arrive

Yes you are correct but having given the size to digbits over the phone I ordered what they reccomended it was the wrong size.they do not do a 205, going from a 200 to a 250.of to Largo plant this morning. But I will get other things apart from the tooth.anyone who does not know them they do mainly filters for just about anything you can imagine and well worth a call.

Got my 205 today and it was still too big having a 55/65 opening when I wanted a 45/55 MM opening.got it fitted by welding a 12 MM spacer on end of tine and 6mm on top and some beads of weld either side of tine so my tooth not fits snuggly and having tried it,it is fine.i emailed harford again to ask if it should be a 205 or another size.they replied another size so I asked what that was and they would not tell me do a big thanks to kirstie for that.ill remember that next time I’m after something.pics show my tooth in middle,small one is a 200 and big one is 205
