Sunward don’t look bad as Chinese machines go. If I needed a micro I’d try one. All depends upon how much it cost new.

Not looking good for ching chong resale to me, comparative Bobcat or Takeuchi is 12-13k......
Especially when you consider how market is at the moment or has been. If things slow down they'll have to lose more off the price than others

Fair point it might look cheap but it might not have lost much, although i didn't think sunward were far below on price.

Did consider the 2.5t version but keep seeing low hour ones come up for sale with a few k off the price

They reckon they sold 250 Sunwards in the UK last year, which sounds like good going to me.

Not big numbers really, maybe ok for a first year but it needs to go up substantially to be worth them staying here imo.
Always a fear with import machines, same with the sany which again don't have massive savings and sit somewhere between the sunward and mainstream machines price wise. Although sany have 5 year or 3000 hour warranty....... As long as their still in the country

A local contractor has just bought a 2.5t sunward
I'll try and find how long it lasts with them as they are a rough lot.

They wouldn't be such a bad prospect if they where like the Honda engine copy's where all parts are interchangeable but then we are supposed to be shying away from Chinese manufacturing

Yup, you can always find a home for quality (or at least, a 'known entity'), but you can't give s**t away when times get hard.

Make me laugh though- how many people have been guilty of calling Bobcat or Hyundai crap in the past becaue they weren't Kubota or Takechi?
