Very .. interesting..I spy a few wiggle areas:

Eg
"Self-propelled mower
You can use rebated fuel in a self-propelled, or ‘sit-on’, mower. This includes any travel on public roads to the place where it will be used"

Note a sudden upsurge in diesel rideons 🤣
That's me sorted ..Sorted. make sure my Kubota has belly mower 🙂 👌

White £178.9 on M1 today. Glad I'm on my account card - not cheap, about the same price as my local garage rather than motorway prices.
that is out and out profiteering .. end of 🤬 🤬 🤬

We where saying the other day, the competitions law was suspended with the `fuel shortage`, makes you wonder if there is price fixing going on now?
There was NO shortage of fuel, if it wasn't in a forecourt tank, it was in a depot tank somewhere.
Fuel companies having the last roll of the dice before, demand falls off (electric vehicles)?

i think fuel companies started the rumour on social media
believe the media started it off with a report about driver shortages leading to shortages in supply .. and then fanned the embers of a story that didn't exist .. 'til they invented it 🤬 🤬 . see them doing a similar thing about 'christmas shopping' supplies recently .. the same will happen there ...... need tighter controls over what they can 'invent' 🤬🤬🤬 ... 99% of 'em are parasites creating their jobs

And then the fuel companies added to it by shouting about asda etc paying drivers wages more than they could so they we're struggling to attract drivers. Thing is which is the billion dollar profits a year company, that's right the fuel companies put ur hand in ur fu**ing pocket and pay a bit more then!

same as was discussed elsewhere the other evening .... if you value your staff, pay them accordingly .... without them you don't have a business

One thing that has always puzzled me about ground souce heat pumps is why is the bore hole so expensive? I've never run a boring machine, but I spent most of a day watching one working drilling samples to the new Thames tunnel at Gravesend. It seemed pretty simple low tech stuff. Has anyone been involved in drilling? Is there more to it than meets the eye?

Everythings expensive and the compressor will drink 150-200L a shift.

I'm not knocking the lass.... but as with many industry body "leaders" her employment history doesn't scream construction equipment to me. https://www.linkedin.com/in/suneeta-johal-64b3a944/

An awful lot of wet slurry comes up, doing trial bores or farm water wells it can easily be lost on site. Round the back of a suburban house trying to cope can cost, tidied up after a rig burst a hose and spewed clay up the house, all over the borders and soaked into the gravel drive 🤪

When i saw the appointment seems a bit like John Lewis, going woke without thinking through how on earth is she going to be a leader to the construction equipment industry. Her CV on linkedin doesn’t make you think she would have been top of the candidate list.
