Saw this old girl still earning her keep at a steel fabricator we buy from. Bandsaw was a beast too

It’s a handy looking tool. Most places use telehandlers, the slewing aspect makes it supper handy for tighter spaces.

Getting her to pass the lifting inspection every year is the challenge with the current box ticking inspectors that don’t like getting there hands dirty.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
very old 2WD HS8 BTLs (without jacks??) and maybe a Kasto saw .... Rapiers were a great all rounder ...

my 4x4 HS10, with half its stick out ... do 5t on rubber and a tonne, flat out, on jacks at 49ft rad. :eek: ..... and I mean FLAT!! :oops: :giggle:

a very expensive saw in its day ... fully automatic ... brilliant for repetitive work and at 1500 quid, a steal(y)

Ah on closer inspection of earlier pics show she obviously slews. I thought it might ave one of those franna type cranes they like down under.
