On a more positive note, we collected some stuff this week, that had been on hire while they done remedial works on raac concrete in a school. They had finished and wanted collection before the new term.
The stuff had been out for a good few months, so maybe it`s not a last minute as the media is making out?
It's this weekends saga...next weekend it will be dealing with the extreme heat...😖

Also does that imply volvic has the aluminium still but has minerals to bind to it, as if drinking volvic not tap water there should be no aluminium or volvic is magical and spreads throughout the body in very cell etc extracting aluminium?

Another thing I reckon is going to be asbestos water pipes. We had one burst in our street. Was quite surprised to realise they asbestos- a bit of googling and apparently 1 in 5 properties are supplied by asbestos pipes in the UK. They have a lifespan of approx 70 years. Doesn't sound great to be honest, but then its effect of failure/contamination wont be as as immediate as Raac so doubt anything will be done about it.
All water main pipes in cornwall have been resin lined

or so they would have you believe :unsure:
They did it every where was a night mare in the summer months every 150m a hole dug for each section pipe cut a sprung fork sent through to clean out crud then a couple of pigs blown through with water to clean crud out then a resin was sprayed from a rotating nozzle backwards to line it quite a few tappings for house supplies had to be sorted out as got blocked
