Hi , just purchased a Hanix H24A and a thwaites 3t dumper . I've a problem with the H24A and someone recommended this forum. Is there a specific way or place to post technical help? Cheers

Diesel return pipe on the Hanix has perished and collapsed internally. It disappears under the cab and can't seem to see where it goes. I'm assuming back to the fuel tank but again seems impossible to even see how to get to it. Also its a three cylinder and it runs like a bag of Sh** it may well be how they are but the vibration makes it seem like its a 4 cylinder running on 3

Are we talking fuel hose, if you can find the tank and where the hose is attached, put it off the tank get a roll of new fuel hose, find a bolt that fits into the hose tightly, put it half into each hose put them together, see if you can pull them through to the engine bay.Hi Mick

Yes correct on the Engine 3cyl. Like that idea trouble is in ant even see bottom of tank or even how to get to it, looks like a cab off job, nightmare. Cheers

The bleed off usually goes to the top of the tank or the top of a fuel filter

A lot of smaller diggers you take the seat out and the panel behind it and everything looks a whole better

Sorry can you clarify weather it’s supply fuel hose or return? Running issues on those old mitsi’s sometimes down to valve clearances.Hi Mick

I'd be inclined to put some Oetiker clips on the joint ... pull too hard and you'd be in a world of tish if they separated

When I had my Hanix micro, I used https://www.rileyplantspares.com/ for parts, they may have manuals that would help. Hanix uk emailed me a full pdf set of manuals at the time but sadly they’re no longer in business.
