I would probably make a few more mk2 would have different shaped buckets as this one was made out of the curved blade of a silage grab and doesnā€™t hold much material still works well mind

it will dig a 12 by 14ā€ hole 5ft deep if I remember right

Thats a handy bit of kit then small holes that sort of size can be a right pain too small for a bucket and plenty big enough for a auger

Dug a tidy little hole 6foot 6 deep the ideal depth for a telephone pole (or so Iā€™m told:censored:)

Iā€™d have used a round auger for a round hole for a round pole šŸ˜‚

must be great for staunchion holes where they insist it has to be a square hole 1m3. Itā€™s not like some Ancient Greek a couple of thousand years ago didnā€™t work out you can have the same volume of something in a cylinder as a cube....

Plenty of packing when back filling and all was grand been dodging that poles for years now itā€™s out the way
