It's meant to be there till end of march....
As long as Anglian keep on track for the repair.
People are never happy but at least they can stay in their homes and not have to move out for a few months or use temporary toilets/wash facilities

If that was round here I'd say bullshit to a repair ..sewers not big enough for new development and they done that till they figure out an alternative...had similar smaller pumping setups round here alongside new developments.

Apparently complaints of smells back in November.

Reality is there is too many new developments and original drainage isn't upto task. They can build all the new drains they want regardless of size but at some point they still meet old drains

absolutely ...
guy I know well - small local developer - bought a house in 2/3 acre plot several years go on edge of town ...
got planning for 5 exec.s ..
but WW/DC, as a consultee, objected on grounds of sewer having insufficient capacity ...
upgrade planned 5 years down the road
so a proviso was stipulated that although he could build them they were not to be occupied until the upgrade was done ......
Dai put 'em up, sold all five in weeks and had been occupied years before the upgrade occurred
Planning never checked/followed up on it and how the hell the buyer's solicitors never picked up on it in searches, is beyond me?
Has since been a controversial 50 odd house site built upstream from his, plus a 15 house site and the 'upgrade' is failing to cope ...
constant blockage issues.
WW/DC made no objections to either site -- big name dev.s
