I photographed this over thirty years ago and I'd like to know what it is. Any help with this is much appreciated!

Someone on here will know ...but in the mean time Im guessing genny and wind up antenna mast.

Yup, it's a Lister-Petter single cylinder generator, probably around 3.5kva if memory serves. The oil drum is the diesel tank. And some sort of wind up mast.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
aye I'd have said an early lighting tower .. not necessarily 'factory'
on Bramber Flexitor suspension units, made in Treorchy, the Rhondda valley ... would say the tow bar is off to the left of the pic, by the orientation of the unit's trailing arms and the brake assembly heading in that direction.
Used to make batches of 'bespokes' for them in the early 80,s ... 10-20 offs... they sub.ed a lot of small batch stuff out back then -- I have trailers all over the world, a lot badged as Bramber Engineering's ;)
nothing like that though :rolleyes:
