Anyone have any recommendations for installing a tracker recovery system to a loader.
Would prefer it fitted!

you dont want it wired in really (easily killed if it is) and make sure its not only relying on a sim card.

automatrics is pretty much the gold standard.
Any recommendations?

About 4 quid a month PAYG to their system. Like u say looks nice and simple and you can get creative with places to hide em..

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
problem is sim based arent any good if they are pinched, they know how to easily defeat them.
assuming they realise there is a system on board? ... that ebay one looks small enough to be stashed almost anywhere as long as it has a live supply (and also says it has a back up in it too )

You can buy things to scan for the gps signal. That’s the problem with an ‘always on’ tracker.
I use automatrics. Very easy to hide too as no wires. Plus they go and look for it if it gets pinched, and it uses radio signals that can penetrate containers etc once it’s in alarm mode.

Yeah looking at it I think that's a better option. More expensive but reading the bumf seems a lot more resilient

I'm still happy with Scorpian track, had one on each machine for about 4 years, get the occasional little glitch but always sorted quickly by a helpful english speaking uk based person, reassuring to get a alert within minutes when i move a machine and forget to set the tracker to transport mode beforehand. Generally does what it says on the tin.
