Had to save this little generator from the scrap man around the back,
There’s got to be some history behind this little gem.
Single cylinder Petter diesel, don’t know it it work yet, not much compression on it at all, but worth saving for a few years for sure

from memory there are two 'popular'/regular battleship greys ... one is very light in colour, but I think I know the one you mean .... if you google it there are dozens

Light grey paint, Pattern 507C.
To make 1 cwt. of paint.
Pattern 409 White lead 28 lbs.
Pattern 104 Zinc oxide 50 lbs
Pattern 689 Paste driers 5lbs
Oil, linseed, raw 20 pts.
Pattern 371 Blue-black paste 7 lbs.
Six pints of light grey enamel, Pattern 12, to be added to each cwt. of paint.

as long as it's on one leg --- sideways ... cos that's how you shuffle in through the door in Del's emporium of interesting cuminfas .... getting stuff out is even more interesting ... I can vouch for that
