and stick ppl in easily controlled boxes in their 15 minute cities ...... and if there's any remediation needed (grenfell) they (the new developers) can do it at the same time as they convert ... save protracted efforts of getting the originals back

It is terrifying how badly run this country is and how deep in the s**t we are.
I cannot imagine anyone working in any ‘government department’ is anything other than a woke waste of space work-from-home grifter blagging their way through life justifying their non-jobs (along with the jobs of any ‘support staff’ they require).

Your correct Fred, but the difference is they cannot refuse you on the change of use aspect only on the material part - which if designed correctly they cannot do much about. Class R is a very powerful piece of planning policy. The additional 500m2 helps me out massively - will be using it up on a shed that I was actually going to dismantle due to not being able to use any of it… will be going for another commercial unit on it now
