for someone that has quite abruptly told a few people with JCB mini diggers I know that "I'm not interested in mini diggers" I find it odd how he's started doing them.....

Make you wonder how many hoses were swapped obviously all the rubber on the boom but when you get underneath...That's either a expensive spay job or a very unprofitable restoration business

Unless he does it for price of materials? Old guy my way restores tractors as a hobby and only charges parts prices, just enjoys doing

this wasn't exactly flogged to death to start with ..... could well have been mint from the off ... tucked in some one's barn perhaps, like the 688 case a while ago with 600ish hrs in 20 odd years

When you look closely at the pics there's plenty pitting of the steelwork etc painted over. It's tidy and presentable enough don't get me wrong but it'll be far from like new up close imho.

Unless you gonna pay the money to have it in a glass case, it will soon be camouflaged with mud and grease, a bit like buying an airfix model of a Land Rover painting it nicely and then putting on realistic dirt!!

I think it's more that putting paint over rust is a waste of time
If it's genuinely been stripped back to components shot blast and painted then fair enough but little point in paying for a 2 gallon overhaul
