The exact reason I never let anything out self drive ,we have 10 machines and all the small bits and pieces,I would rather park the lot up and even sell a couple if quiet than risk the potential abuse when letting the over enthusiastic, unskilled levermonkeys Loose in my kit for a paltry financial return. Have offended/pissed off a lot of people,customers,even friends over the years trying to explain that in my opinion they are not capable of operating any of my expensive potentially lethal machinery but they can pay my rate for a professional service or f##k off to the local hire shop and make a mess with their kit!

The op seemed ½ tidy think he was p***** at having such a small machine but no excuse for that. My mate thought I was joking until he went around an hr or so later

Just no excuse really, if you’re given a machine that is too small then just pace yourself ,work methodically and by the end of a shift you’ve achieved what should be expected .
