Reminds me of one that happened at Perkins Engines a few years back to a mate. He was nail-gunning crates shut and managed to nail the palm of his hand to the side of a crate. The fire brigade put Him in the ambulance with the entire three foot plank still nailed to his hand.

timber frame outfit I used to make a lot of steel work for used to get one a month on average .... was in their yard one day, delivering, when one guy nailed his hand to a panel ..... could hear him out in the yard

Try’d pliers but to sore! A&E - there cutter wouldn’t cut nail to pull through so ended up pulling back out which wasn’t ideal as a screw type nail

Pulling the strap off what ever was banded didn't have gloves on but doubt that would of helped much
