5 or maybe 700 tonner .... superlift rigged ...... shook the chassis/carrier like a rag doll on impact
my guess'd be way too much side loading with the wind on the load, dragging it sideways ... boom is not designed to be side loaded AT ALL ... smaller/upper section folded and it's "good night Vienna" there on in ... derricking rams popped in some order
some bill for that

I was talking to a mate who works on offshore wind farms and the scale of kit is unreal - blades are 110m long now, and the nacelle can weigh upto 500 tonnes apparently!!
