Why was it not loaded over the axles
Sometimes lorries are a bit light on the drive axles if the weight is all on trailer axles, this time of year it's common to load the trailer a bit forward. Needs a stronger trailer 😆

been out with a crane to a few of them in me time .... and when you look at the trailer, as you pick it onto a.n.other one, to cart it away, would very often wonder how did it get plated/get as far as it had :unsure:

Yeah my thoughts..how did it get all way to A50 you'd think back roads or speed bump etc would have killed it? Stress and braking I guess?

I thought it would be over loaded on the axles with it being there

I remember having weight left right at the back of the trailer, it lost traction on the unit. Caused by canter lever affect i presume, on a twin steer unit.

Templetown beach county Louth, pulled from FB. By the look of it the salt water couldn't do it much more harm

got called out (with a crane) to a truck, 'bout 5 miles out from Aber, on an infamous roundabout ..... two 9t coils off ...... on the side of the roundabout - just .... went out, reloaded 'em into his coil well, wrapped up and we'm in the layby, just down the road doing the paperwork as plod comes cruising by in a jam sandwich ..... one lucky SOB .... tinplate coils were a tad fooked though :giggle:
