Due to the angle the machine is sitting at there is little oil in the sump according to the liebherr fitter, also there is a finer cable underneath the track that’s in the air, and now the haulier has washed his hands of the machine. Rumer has it that trailer was involved in another accident days before this

I’d be going down there with a few big lads and the recovery gear. Trespass is a civil offence, and I doubt there’s a court in the land that would award damages to a landowner so blatantly trying to extort money after an accident.

.. same happened on the old M4/M40 bottom of Thornbury pitch-ish many years ago ... weekend closure to replace bridge and one or t'other, new one i think it was, got well and truly bogged on the Scheurerle axle lines carrying it ... had half a dozen of the biggest wreckers around the area hauling it out
