Sickener...But having been and seen the drop off the road they often have like that surprised it doesn't happen more ..

I was half expecting that one to come up
, walked up that way recently with Mrs Navvy and she dragged me away before the workers got upset with my amusement at their attempts to cross with a dumper

way too big a tool for a canal tow path .... looks like they were trying to lift that pontoon off t'other .... FFS get a crane to do a crane's job ..... (used to do a LOT of work for BWW on the side of the canal here with mine.)Never mind that it's not actually a digger....

Can't quite imagine how they managed to get in that position. The four pontoons where being used as bridging units. Where the digger is is the access across the canal and the only way the telehandler could have got there. A competent operator would have had no difficulty extracting those pontoons from the canal using the telehandler
