More to it than that, they are trying to work off the back of a beaver tale 8 wheeler parked on sidewalk (big duck) to dig a front garden up.

Look where grass and lamppost are it’s never been driven up the ramps. No chains though and city pads!

Just watched the video, but not seen how it got to that stage of the track slipping. They only got the bucket in that garden to try and drag the machine over. Was it a case of being loaded and moved, or while transported?
Either way wouldn't have caught me near those cones like them two guys

Trouble with situations like that is the ROPS is designed to work in combination with the rest of the machine. I.e the boom taking some significant impact force.
Direct strike it doesn't stand a chance, hence why loaders and dozers tend to have big external ROPS or very noticeable thick rear cab pillars.

It got knocked out of shape but it did it’s job, operator survived. Just for interest, I put a new cab on a 320 a few years back, it surprised me how heavy it was, just under the tonne. There’s a fair bit of meat hidden under the trim.

Caught the ground as he’s come down off the stockpile I suppose, amazing to do that kind of damage to the machine. You wouldn’t have guessed it would let go where it did! Must have been really motoring!

Looks like the punishment fitted the crime
I'd give the op a shovel and wheel borrow and see if that teaches him the value of the machine

Know a lad that broke the windscreen of a JCB backhoe with his head. Was doing snow clearance in a car park, at speed and hit either a raised man hole or kerb 🤣
I hit a huge raised concrete aco 3rd gear full pelt on a 3cx… took the wind out of me that’s for sure!! Seatbelt was always worn when snow clearing after that!! Back wheels must of lifted of the ground!

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
The plows I've looked at in germany (only place I've taken a lot of notice) all run a plastic strip in place of a metal edge.
A lot more forgiving if you clip something solid.
purpose built tend to here too ..... not a lot of call for it on a Jake though
