ROPS didn’t stand up as well as I would have thought it should. Glad I wasn’t involved.

To be fair it's roll over, rather than piercedROPS didn’t stand up as well as I would have thought it should. Glad I wasn’t involved.
Just watched the video, but not seen how it got to that stage of the track slipping. They only got the bucket in that garden to try and drag the machine over. Was it a case of being loaded and moved, or while transported?More to it than that, they are trying to work off the back of a beaver tale 8 wheeler parked on sidewalk (big duck) to dig a front garden up.
Look where grass and lamppost are it’s never been driven up the ramps. No chains though and city pads!

I hit a huge raised concrete aco 3rd gear full pelt on a 3cx… took the wind out of me that’s for sure!! Seatbelt was always worn when snow clearing after that!! Back wheels must of lifted of the ground!Know a lad that broke the windscreen of a JCB backhoe with his head. Was doing snow clearance in a car park, at speed and hit either a raised man hole or kerb![]()
purpose built tend to here too ..... not a lot of call for it on a Jake thoughThe plows I've looked at in germany (only place I've taken a lot of notice) all run a plastic strip in place of a metal edge.
A lot more forgiving if you clip something solid.

The ploughs we used had spring loaded sections on the bottom, about 2 foot long, with thick rubber bolted to them. The plows I've looked at in germany (only place I've taken a lot of notice) all run a plastic strip in place of a metal edge.
