No actual teeth though? Just drive lugs? Not that chainsaw teeth would be much use, but still, they are not chainsaw teeth!
Doesn’t really need the loop of chain either, just one strand of chain would do sufficient damage!

got a mate has his strimmer head set up with 4mm HT S/steel wire rope instead of cord .... nothing stops it .... it takes absolutely no prisoners and i don't think he's ever replaced the rope :oops: :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, they were subsequently banned as far as I’m aware.
The link is actually to this exact head being removed from sale because of HSE involvement. (Looks a productive bit of kit tbh, but the dangers of chain shot make it unworkable).
