Ah - the plastic pig. The pride of the british motor industry! :p
two .... Bond and Reliant .....
had a Reliant once .... but a real one with a 3l V6 and a wheel at each corner :giggle:.... loved the car, just couldn't keep up with the engine changes .... tiny engine bay, even tinier radiator at 45 deg.s to the incoming cooling air, with a spare wheel of top of it  ... motors never stood a chance .... drove it with one eye on the road and the other on the temp gauge ... put an over ride switch in to beat the sensor to it .... and still managed to cook 3 motors, killed one when the nylon timing gear, spat its teeth off, giving it some seeerious boot and eventually got p-ed off with the hassle ...
put an RS 3.1 Savage lump in with Swaymar big valve heads and stage 3 cam ... drove it once and sold it, 'fore i killed that one too .. was awesome for its time('82)

Any environmental benefits of those electric buses, have gone up in smoke, literally.
I wonder how many zillions of KW where being used to charge them? Bad connection getting hot, battery failure, mechanical failure, or just an accident?
No news coverage (that I`ve seen/heard), don`t want to upset the electric revolution?

Are we sure it wasn't the traveling fraternity trying to extract the copper. They like bonfires for electrical cable round here.
Even seen them burning tyres and hooking the steel cords out for scrap

I thought you weren’t supposed to put water on electrical fires.

It’s a painful watch!

Forget the mistakes made that led him to be in that position, the manner in which the c@@t proceeded to get himself off that poor truck is quite frankly unforgivable.
