I sold all my toys last year, my f150, my r8. Bought a canal boat for me and the kids and all that to enjoy at the weekends. Something to get away from it all.

I am a petrol head but im one that loves the idea of having a car like R8 etc but in principle dont use them and when they sit i get itchy and sell. I am doing my best to come away from this style I just have a range rover day to day L322 and also a old disco toy

Kinda the same here. Sold the nicest toys due to lack of use, and every so often have thoughts about selling the rest. Money tied up/risk of theft/no free space

I was lucky that my brother has an exotic car fetish which meant I got to drive a few Ferrari’s and Lamborghini that I would never want to own.
More than happy with the current Range Rover Sport and the ever growing collection that is a P38, Range Rover Classic and one of my favourites a Discovery 1. All diesel so I guess that doesn’t really make me a petrolhead at all!!

Also my b7 is supercharged some 16 k conversion and 640bhp to boot. It’s pretty bloody special but my one is a rough example I’m not to fussed if it sells or doesn’t as will never get one that cheap again

this is my life now, it’s a josher bow and the boat was built by a fairly well respected boat builder in the industry ( one of the top few ) has some beautiful lines if that’s your sort of thing

As for cars, I’m selling my ‘weekend toy’ sat in the garage for two years now, done 800 miles!

Also no way on earth would I buy a McLaren or any decent car from a auction like that!!

Nice lines indead, far too easy to overdo the pinch in bows & lift at the back.....and no silly weld on washers . Is it a Tyler?

We spent a lovely summer last year on our old boat, (all weekends and a week in the summer) no issues like that at all but i suppose its where you want to stay that does that. We are Northamptonshire so nice towns etc , I wouldn’t be going to Liverpool in a rush ...I find it very relaxing and the kids love it they didnt argue, go on ipads or even watch tv for the most.
