The older you, sorry wiser you get. You realise nearly every conflict is bs, ego, power, money, oil or probably a combination of all. Most people get on with their lives. Left out religion as all of the above cover it apart from possibly oil

On this day 1960 something I was born! But on the day the evening of the 15th October 1987 was the great Hurricaine that swept across the UK overnight, I actually slept through it although when I woke up and drew the curtains Back there was devastation everywhere trees down houses missing tiles etc, You could not get out of East Grinstead on any road they were all blocked by trees that were down.

My eventual yard was flattened in those storms of 87 and rebuilt on the insurance - some interesting footage of locals discussing the damage to their farms etc

Many thanks Gents had a good day the Mrs took me out for a decent breakfast it was so good neither of us needed food this evening! Spent the afternoon rebuilding a Ferrari 355 clutch, I have a lot of pictures of the strip down and the start of the new clutch, flywheel and repacking the grease into the unit, which leaves the thrust bearing and all of the seals etc that go with it before I can re fit the whole lot.

remember it well - some sort of carnage round here -- My parents caught a ferry back from Europe the morning after and saw some serious chaos and destruction on the way home from Dover :rolleyes:
