Old Thwaites Dumper Axle filling

I am trying to sort out oil in the front axle. There are two hexagonal plugs and a slightly lower hex socket one. Am I correct in saying there are three separate sections, all to be filled level? Outer two with UTTO as it has wet brakes and the middle with EP80/90?

If it’s braked internally then use Utto/ Tractor Oil/ ATF. Top bung is the filler, middle bung drain, bottom one drain will have a magnet, or should have, you will have to drain the hubs separately as the drain is below axle level! If you jack front left and rear right wheels and take off the handbrake you can turn them to the correct places for draining and then do same on the opposite corners.

Thanks for the reply. All other car axles I have worked on are as you describe. If you look at the picture on this one you can see three plugs on much the same level in addition to the drain hidden underneath. Is the axle divided into three sections which have to be filled separately with these plugs also being level and fill?

I'm going out on a limb here, and guessing it's a Thwaites - but what model is it (year and size might be helpful too).
Check the axle for an ID plate

I think you’ll find those bolts either side are locating bolts for the reduction gear in the cases, serial or Mach number would help

Sorry wrong dumper, yes the two bolt head bungs are the fillers the large grub screw with 14 mm hex is the level and obviously the bottom one the drain.

The drawing really helps thanks and I'm sure its the correct axle. I think the dumper is a 1992 going by the reg, will see if there is a plate on the axle. The rest seem to have corroded off. I don't understand why it would have two filler plugs unless the axles are sealed from the diff, are parts numbered 36 o rings?

I've never seen one, so just going off the drawing, but O-rings 36 & 37 are probably brake seals (?).
The main seals look to be 30.
Three fillers / chambers makes sense with a reduction box each side, but only one drain plug? Perhaps one of the bolts (18) doubles as a drain?
