Lidl had 12v oil transfer pumps for about £12 a few weeks ago.
I bought one but have not used it yet. I think the spec was it will move about 2.5 L/min which sounds like it would suit your needs.

batteries never go flat on the syringe type .... for the frequency of use I'd vote for that all day .... or me old faithful pump ... syringe'll also pull it back out too

When I worked in NZ they had one of these for every 20l oil drum. Best thing going even for chainsaw oil.

It’s what I do!
There is an air over oil tank about ten litres volume, (RAASM) fill with oil you need to use, put the lid back on and pressurise it, pull the trigger on the end of the hose, it has a fairly small filling tube.

saying that has just reminded me of a mate who had an alloy dive bottle, 'bout 2ft tall which he fitted with a Schraeder valve, hose, trigger nozzle and used to half fill with oil, on the same principle ... worked real well

Saw on TikTok the other day a poor man's version. Just a 1 litre plasctic oil can with a hole drilled in the lid and pipe inserted down to 10mm before the base silicones in. Then a 5mm hole drilled into the neck. Blow gun pushed up to the 5mm hole and when the trigger pulled the can empties

bloody rapidly .... any blockage in the outlet's gonna result in a very oily mess

What do the little drill pumps self prime like?
I'll probably only use it for thinner stuff like ATF and 80/90 gear oil.

Surprisingly well...I've got a wolfcraft one we use for "reducing the level" of our septic tank occasionally.
Hedge grows bloody well in a certain spot these days .

I've always used a garden sprayer , it's marked in pints and litres and only needs the spray nozzle taking off and the tube bending a bit. Fill with enough oil to be a bit short ,pump up and crack on with something else till you hear it farting and bubbling. Add a bit more oil and peacefully lie under machine half watching and half looking at plant talk till its full

I got a 2" Loncin powered pump for that
.... nettles grow real well in certain areas of the field next door
