Proper useful weapon that. Especially in our neck of the woods . Used to be a lad on atbtalk with one many moons ago iirc

For the sort of money a new one of those would be, I’m not sure you would be any better off than a unimog though, that’s allready a proven machine?

2 different machines really.
Ones is a 4x4 van.
The other is a swiss army knife.
If you need hydraulics, pto, 3 point link on a lorry with the option to drive on either side then a unimog is perfect.

They rekon around 75 to 80k for 1 but unimog way more

Not really as the German machine where they can haul far more than what we can legally.
They used to use the big ones for shunting railway stock. It should piss all over 25t.

I think alot of them are vario gearboxes which are no good for towing. I can never quite understand all the fendts on trailer work as a good power shift gearbox will run all over them on road work.

That’s 25 pallets excluding the 32’ triaxle trailer at probably 10 ton plus, should add it’s not highway it’s around a big quarry site processing to old quarry bit for storage.

Not allowed on the highway, but there are plenty of other roles for which they are designed that aren’t restricted by such legal technicalities.
