Mind you i think there's a lot of van retailers trying to move on second hand vans they've paid top dollar for at the mo. There's adverts popping up all over the place on the hard sell. I think they can see something coming

Either that or they realise that the short bubble of no new supply has burst, with vehicles slowly becoming available resulting in all these motors they paid over the top slipping down to what they paid or less.

Alot of it was greed, offering to exchange lease vehicles that were 1 year or less to bump their used stock to sell for over inflated prices.

Heard that a dealer took in a 1 year old connect and exchanged it for a fresh custom for the same lease cost, just to have it in their forecourt

It read quite well, not written in the usual eBay scam style.
I think if I was looking it would be worth a call... but yes it’s easily worth£15/16k minimum so I wondered if the £13k was a trade in price.

The customs seem to drop in value a bit out of warranty especially if near 100k when the wet belt needs changing.

Also I’d read if you have a failed dpf regen due to short journeys it chucks the unburnt diesel used for the regen into the oil leading to the wet belt deteriorating and engine wear. Crazy system. Apparently when the engine was new out Ford would reset the oil change light if it pinged up really early and had lots of engine failures as a result.

I have a 19 plate custom and I halve the service intervals and haven’t seen a light in 65k.
They are a decent drive I think if aware of the possible problems caused by emission hoop jumping.

Not uncommon for exhaust manifold studs breaking which can be a complete wan*er of a job if they are to drill out. Can be an easy 1k + bill to sort in a garage. Transits are a bit like Jcb's there's a lot of them out there and when market starts to tighten up they can suffer price drops more than others.
