Cheapo import from unknown brand, big auctions are full of them, looked at a longer version in Leeds afew months back and I couldn’t pick one end up! Very heavy and very
tinny/clattery
I want something like this for the yard as I have a fair duplication of tools plus a load of stuff that doesn’t live in the van. Fed up with wanting to do a small task and needing to walk back and forth to the van. Was looking at the new dewalt tough system drawers / workshop set up but not emotionally prepared to spend that much money.

I got this one in the workshop, its ok.... i wouldn't want it in the van though i dont think it would last
so what's it built like then Aiden ... will it stick the pace in the workshop ??
trouble is that one on FB is 3 hrs away and he's gonna have to come down a bit too to make the travel worthwhile -- could do with something for me power tools to keep 'em all in one spot

Sent you a video on messenger.

Its good enough for the workshop, wouldn't stick the van though. Im adamant the snap-on is the only on for the van.

Personally I like the Tough System and TStaK stuff for the van. Power tools in the tough system. I glue / bolt the old version 6” boxes to the top of the newer drawers. Waterproof and too heavy for a casual thief, but still movable. Strong enough to rattle around in a trailer or pick up and as I’m often changing vans it means I get to keep all my power tools accessories with the associated power tools.
Also strong enough to use as Hop Ups

Service hand Tools go in TStak. Still okay for outside work and oil boilers but light enough and clean enough to go indoors when required. Also okay for standing on :)

that's what kept coming up, searching -- no one tells you the 'weight' of the materials used to make them :(
" Made from 430-grade stainless steel with an anti-fingerprint coating, the chest boasts brushed 20-gauge steel and a reinforced base for durability and longevity. All drawers can be securely locked using a single tumbler lock. ... Dimensions including casters and handles: Width: 1985mm, Height: 950mm, Depth: 490mm - Maximum weight capacity per drawer: 45kg - Internal drawer depths from top to bottom: 60mm / 60mm / 60mm / 140mm / 220mm "

0.9mm isn't bad for that TBF

just watched it -- as we have both just said " seen worse " ........ pity they didn't do a 60/120/140/220 combo - be more useful -- you'd get a lorra sockets/spanners in 9 x 60mm draws

Sealey and Mac do dedicated van chests in a full roll cage and I think double draw slides. Snap on possibly do one to but not entirely sure
