Hi.
Building a new house, so recently purchased a 2015 JCB 8026 CTS, and yesterday a added a 2007 Barford sx6000 dumper.
My wife thinks they are temporary, but I think they will become part of the family!!!

I did a similar thing when a I started my self build. I bought a jcb 801.4, a 1ton dumper and a smallish crane. The jcb is the only thing I have now, as I sold the crane and dumper. I saved quite a lot since I didn't have to hire. The jcb has had it's problems, being 28 years old now, but still good for landscaping, which is what I am doing now, as the house is finished.

well that narrows it down a bit - not
wheeled, on tracks? mobile, truck mounted - how big ?

I started off when my dad got a 3cx for a self build… I learned on the family house build and then went doing odd jobs off the back of that!

Is was tracked, about the size of a medium digger with a 3 stage boom. It could lift a pallet of bricks with the boom fully retracted. It was damn awful to drive.
