I previewed it - 90 degrees out.
Deleted image - rotated it 90 degrees - saved it - inserted it - still 90 degrees out!!

when you travel it, it will ride and grip much better with the boom to the rear and tail weight over the drive axle .... I have a LOT of experience with the Weighload systems and used to maintain and calibrate my own ... even to the extent of replenishing load cells with new bladders and meths ... the capillary tube is the usual cause of most faults .. they crack .... if the outer looks dodgy the inner will almost certainly be foobar-ed .. deep pockets required .. should have a full workshop manual for the Saphire ... somewhere .... perhaps two .... will have to dig them out

be a new one on me .... there's a sodding gert Zebbedee inside that reel ... angle sensor is usually a grooved disc at the pivot point of the boom and a cable transfering angle of dangle either direct to the Weighload display unit, or via a stiff bowden cable or ribbon and ball type cable (who's name I can never remember - could be Teleflex) type set up
the reel gives the degree of extension on the tele and the load cell in the dynamometer rollers is connected to the indicator by the capillary tube i mentioned previously ..... plus you need the right cam in the display unit .... will deffo have two, maybe more -- one for manual in and tele only ... one for manual out and tele ...... without the correct cam in place for the configuration it's as much used as balls on a nun

me Rapier had a Wylie system and that was a right sack of worms Weighload's much easier to sort

....... It's a 6 pot but embarrassingly haven't had time to check motor. Ex MOD, was expecting Ford but looks like a Perky picture I've seen, maybe even yours.

that's a modern solid state electronic unit ... not the old mechanical system ... they're on the boom base pin as per the pix last night and cable operated
