It seems that there is another owner operator suffering from issues with his top-spec brand new JCB…

Such a shame that they regularly just can’t seem to get it right…

I know Kieran very well, lives very close to me, I've driven that machine. What he's gone through isn't great. A lot of it caused by the dealer, but not entirely.

It actually raises a point that not a lot of people talk about. When trying to put these high spec machines together with more than just 3 buckets and a hitch - there are multiple companies involved and they don't all work so well together. Even when being co-ordinated (and paid for) through the machine dealer.

As buyers demand more from their machines, these companies better get their act together and stop blaming each other for issues. All the suppliers have egg on their face with this one, but it is down to the dealer (who is no doubt earning commission on this deal) to sort it. Sadly, it turns out, that despite paying that premium, you might as well do it yourself.

I have a good friend with exactly the same new machine and setup as Keiran and he is having exactly the same issues (and also has paint falling off!). He reckons the salesman is doing his best, but JCB themselves don’t want to know… (The dealer’s fitters are unable to sort his issues).

There is a solution…. Hitachi 😉
Your one stop shop for decent machines- tiltrotators - guidance all at the same time. They have a specific workshop on site at Newcastle which fits all the tiltys/guidance etc. I was invited up but couldn’t take a day away from site.
I’m going to say it… why the hell anyone buys a JCB when hitachi offer such serious solutions is beyond me! (I get it with backhoes, but I won’t start that debate)
