I think you're right, thinking about it ... they originally had a cross diagonal set up using rams under the top hitch plate to the lower rotator mount plate, from memory ... a right catsafterme of a thing ... bit like the MTS thing below but a lot taller with the rams at about 30 degs to horizontal ....... thought I had a pic somewhere ... pretty sure it was flagged on CEF

Looks like they bought a helac and a rotary unit off of wish and let the apprentice stick them together
