New ECU

Hi everyone I'm new to forum's so I'll try my best to ask questions correctly.
I have a jcb 8018 mini digger and immobiliser ECU has water damage so have got a new one coming could anyone please tell me if I have to put a new code in the pad or will plug and play or will I need jcb to reset it all or could there be a fotter out there that could sort it if so any contact numbers I'm in the np12 3t area wales thanks
