Hi gents. First time posting on here.
I am looking to add another 8 ton machine. Currently have a 2011 Hitachi zaxis 70lc this mainly gets used for electricity pole erecting. Anyway my customer has asked us to get another machine of a same kind of spec. Hitachi has a long lead time for delivery. But been looking at the case cx75c-sr. Quick delivery lead time. Looks a nice machine but have no experience of the newer machines.
Any thoughts or opinion be gratefully recived

Don’t think you’ll go wrong with a case machine, never heard a bad word against them, and they seem to hold there money, not been on one for while, but they always seem fast and smooth.

You’ll no go wrong to be honest pal. Most machines are much and much the same these days maintenance wise, it all depends on what you like to operate

Cheers. I have only owned Hitachi in this size. I know Hyundai build the minis up to 5 or 6 ton for case. I like the look of the 75. And dealer is making a good deal.

Cheers. Been on a few 130s and a couple there ducks and they were good machines. But been a few years. Not been on any of the midi other than just a swing about in a concrete yard.

From what I have been told maintenance wise it is the same isuzu engine as the Hitachi I have. The new Hitachi have a yanmar engine.

They are getting popular and I hear hodge are pretty good with back up and not so far from you in Nairn so that’s a bonus 👍
I spotted you about 2 weeks when I was driving through corpach

Hi Alan. I phoned them already. They have a 85us and 85usb they want 60k each. Hitachi quoted me £54,750 for 85us

Despite running small Volvo machines I’d allways look at case.they are very very underrated and I’d go as far as saying they are some of the smoothest machines I’ve ever used and amongst the best.id put case machines above volvo too over 5 too.ill fetch my tin hat now and take cover

I an not a great fan of the Volvo minis or midis. Had 88 on hire for few months. Was really noisy in the cab. 1 my boys would only drive it with ear defenders on
