Neuson engine mount shattered

Afternoon folks,

Wacker Neuson 1t Hi Lift 1001 with Yanmar engine. One of the engine mounts is shattered, causing the engine to drop slightly and now the cooling fan makes a right racket!

I can't seem to locate them online (for once, a well-known search engine hasn't helped...). Pictures attached show one side (intact) and the other (busted).

Anyone able to point me in the direction of a link or somewhere I can get replacements, and any tips (do's and don't's) on the job itself?

For something like that I'd try your local dealer, shouldn't be to expensive

Thanks, I will try that but there don't seem to be too many dealers round this area. I was hoping to find a part online somewhere...

But if that fails, I will go to a dealer.

Can you weld it and gusset it? They’re only mild steel.

sorry, just had a better look at the picture. It’s the rubber that’s gone. Try RSonline, you might get lucky.

Yup, it's the rubber. RS - hadn't thought of that - I'll give it a go.

could always make a bottom mount plate with a tapped centre hole to take the one side's stud, cut to suit

probably got half a dozen of them here .... good solid mounts

That's true, and I might even be able to re-use the old plate and just replace the rubber with something similar to the above.

Might be a little while before I get round to it - the dumper is in heavy use atm and I don't want to take it out of action! Cooling fan sounds noisy, but not doing any long term damage (I hope...).

er ... would not want to bet on that ....... sooner or later yon blades are gonna carve a hole in the rad core

Actually, the rad casing is carving a notch in the blades

If it's a plastic fan, chances are that one blade will shear, take the rest out plus your rad core. Happened here a few times in the past.
