Any of you chaps managed to figure out how to stop the collector chute clogging? I feel like these mowers aren't really designed for our climate...the least bit of moisture in the grass and the chute gets packed solid.....quickest way I've found to unclog it is pull the basket and chute out, shove air blow gun down it and blast it several times.

Mulching deck and no collector a better idea?

Mulching is fine if you are prepared to mow every five days in the growing season, otherwise it tends to leave a mess . Then when mulching dont mow too short ; you need to leave enough standing grass to loose the cut grass in.
