do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
This is the single best item I have ever bought, after the digger of course. Not because of anything particularly fancy about the mower, but because the wife loves using it so much I don't need to mow the grass anymore! Yeeha!
Pam doesn't dislike mowing the lawn ...... it's just all the random bloody lines that piss me off :(... no sense of 'system' to her mowing

Get some sheep @V8Druid, they are good at keeping the grass down :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.....
third word is "off" " :p:p
bloody wooly backs piss and s**t everywhere
... stinking walking carcasses ....
have enough trouble with the neighbouring escapologist Houdinis, through the winter months

The best lawnmower of course is a grading bucket and the readymix collector. ;)
aye .... flat and green out of the floor paint tin ..... got a mate who's old man did just that ... concreted the whole lawn, painted it green and sold the lawn mower - saved hours of grief for the rest of his days ...... but concreting a good acre plus is not gonna come cheap and 'she'd' have an eppy :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I learnt years ago that it's easier to keep it down once you've gotten on top of it, after the winter ... depending on the weather .... every 4-5 days doesn't take long.... leave it ten days and it's a 'mare

Brought mine to the yard to service and fit new belts, taking it back home on Wednesday night and got on the motorway. Car comes up beside me and points back. Got out and looked and the collection basket is gone, can just about see it back down the motorway about 1/2 mile.... to far to walk. Got back in and head for the next junction and turn around, about 5 mins in total. Can see it on the slow lane as I go back down the other way. Turn around and get back to it just as a cop car pulls up at it🙈 got out said that's mine... they laugh and say no problem mate, just tie it better next time👍 top lads... could have been right pricks

Certainly not a mower, but seen as this seems to be the gardening bit, thought I’d stick it in here🙂....just picked this up today and very impressed with it, and it’s extremely fast too 😎, got about 7/8 tons to get through so wanted something to speed the operation up. Was looking at a hydraulic one, but they seem to be very slow. This make was mentioned to me a few weeks back, so looked into them and got one, and a lot cheaper than a hydraulic one of the same weight.

Gets stuck on a knotty old chump?

oak splits lovely as long as it is still green ( not seasoned.)

Try a bit of poplar and you'll wish you never bothered.

when it fails to follow through to the end of its stroke, 'cos yon block is too hard  .... hydraulics simply just dump pressure - a mechanical system comes to a grinding halt :(

It does nothing, you just reset it, like you would when it does a full stroke and have another go. Mine has 2 levers, you pull the black one back and push the red one forward to set it off and then just do that the opposite way round to bring it back and reset it, on some really hard stuff it might take 3/4 attempts to get through it.

Paid £470 for it, plus a little bit for delivery and the VAT. Money well spent really when I looked at it against hydraulic ones, and a lot quicker!!😀.
