So is he still dealing in sunward too? Just wondering how the 3yr/3000hr parts and labour warranty is working out for the customer!???

Haha this guy came and offered us a dealership for sunward years ago, when i drilled into it with him asking for T&c’s etc he sent me somthing a week later i was blocked on face ache…. All he could talk about was how everybody bows to him because of his Tilt knowledge. I am glad I didn’t do anything with it

Local tractor dealer is a sunward dealer, They know I’m into diggers but haven’t bothered to even whisper to me about them… must just be going for the ‘easy’ sales!

He comes across as a proper tit and the way he jumps ship from one brand to another would give you no reason to doubt it.

Nope he seems to just have jumped ship from them straight away, one day he was advertising sunward and the next these here

it’s draining every time I go on facelessbook there is some bullsh*t advert about them.
I did hear an interesting story last week about the sany set up and them not honouring ALOT of warranty work, leaving the dealer fronting it…. He isn’t a dealer any longer .
I understand all makes/brands have to start somewhere but it’s always us that are left in the sh*t when they pull out or go pop, my business plan was to always use established brands and pay the extra or don’t have at all, I always know where I stand with residual value and reliability or the ease of fixing when needed.

My local hire company has been stocking up on them rather than just kubota (now 50/50 with sany) I have said so many times they will regret it…. I hope they don’t as I don’t want anyone to lose money or have agro but I can’t see past a shitstorm.
I had one of theirs (1.8 tonnes) for cleaning round some piles and never again, it was like a bucking bronco, had to run it at 1/4 revs to get any response that didnt jolt me about!!
Glad I only spent £150 on that for the week to tell me my decision was right to stay well clear.

How best to describe him? A typical sales man with the temperament of a 15 year old girl could sell snow to an Eskimo but if you sent him to the store collect it he'd grab a bag of sand and deliver it...... wouldn't have a clue what was sand or what was snow.

Has been known to introduce himself as Mr tiltrotator well i can whole heartedly say that i taught him most of what he knows about them. He started with RT and i used to get the daily calls asking the questions....

I don't expect to see many LKs land in the UK.... good chance he'll be selling washing powder by Christmas

I do think Sany as comming with a force, but like all there machines need to progress to next level, i understand this is taking place with model changes and the like.

Yes and no.... thankfully the industry had moved forward by this stage..

He did come up with the "Hire fleet" special though..... basically a 4 hose system with pup below and picked up with the machines own QH.... i put my foot down and said that wont work, it will be to heavy, to high and the geometry will be all wrong. No they had to see for themselves so one was setup...... it didnt take off
