Well after a day and a half pulling, pushing and rocking the boat with these

plus a 30 ton dragline in the background with a snatch block,
managed to get the boat up the slipway………….. well a bit

so will be chewing at it on and off between jobs for a few weeks

only had a hour at it this afternoon but made a hole
fair bit to go

5k but been on a breaker from new and to be fair it had only worn one of the bushes furthest from the cab as the boom is in one place all the time

Yea it was freezing on Saturday the sun doesn’t get into the quarry till 2 in the afternoon

Looks like spider string @Shovelhands another job for the air con people, had to lift the gear onto the landing in the top right of the picture with the ‘new‘ telehandler

The safety guy is mad for the red and white ribbon he’ll wrap it around you if you standstill for long enough

Lovely part of the world ... I spent a lot of happy time as a kid on my cousins farm at Pool in wharfedale which is maybe 1/2hr away

4 cylinder Perkins what do you want it for, I didn’t take the engines out just a few hydraulic motors and rams the rest went to ’the yard’ as our dark cousins usually buy them I’ll ask if you like

Mog, It’s to drive a two tool mobile compressor but I also need enough grunt to drive an 8 or 10 kva geny at the same time.

The compressor had a 3 cylinder Perkins 103-10 in originally and that was just about up to the job of running the compressor only.

I took that engine out and put it in my mini digger so have a vacancy for something a bit larger in the compressor now.
