Had a good day on the ‘boat’ today managed to strip both sides of the engine cut the drive shaft (8” solid bar) and pull all the pistons out
this is the last one reaching for the sky

they are 12.5 inches diameter just for comparison here are three pistons and con rods can you guess which one is from a land rover View attachment 30472
so now to get the con rod off had to carry it over to the press on the handler

and used a stack of old Land Rover pistons to push the ‘little’ ends out

Found a use for the piston magazine table

and the con rod, or some of it a chimney stand for my shed heater

on another note got to drop off a shipping container in a tight spot, can drive in but reversing out will be tricky so thought drive in, drop of box, lift trailer around, drive out

£100 per piston, you’ll never find another one and £50 for a con rod maybe a bit big to post though
not got nothing a bit smaller even the pistons out of my truck are tiny by comparison
