I have a new 13hp Honda pressure washer delivers 21 lpm and wouldn’t want anything less for machine washing, as said above though yo don’t always need the pressure.

I'd disagree there Doob ..... the 9 horse Hodna on my Nova puts out enough to knock Pam off her feet and 15lt/m is a lot of wasser .... hose won't keep up with it ... I feed an IBC and it sucks it up from there ..... from full, can generally get about 3 hrs, before the Nova has emptied the IBC, faster than the hose can replenish it/keep up with it ...

We've been through this on the grease gun thread mate.... you're a DIY'er now!

I did actually look into a new petrol pressure washer myself a while ago before deciding to just sort the old one i had. It's seems its either 5.5hp 15lpm or step up to 13hp. My old (probably 30 yr old) 8hp is 15lpm pump and considering how hard the motor works when using it i can't see the 5.5hp pressure washers delivering 15lpm at any worthwhile pressure.

£30 quid for a plug new string and a second have recoil off ebay to rob bits off to fix its own it'll do a few more years yet. I might push the boat out and buy a fresh lance.
Whatever you buy lance and nozzles are worth the extra fee quid imho.

yeh real eco friendly footprint that ...... recharging it all the time

read an article recently about how Germany is having to reboot a lot of their coal fired stations, 'cos their solar panels're all covered in snow and frost plus their wind turbines haven't turned a blade in weeks due to the unusually calm wind patterns, .. their renwable's been non existent for months ... also having to import power from neighbouring countries to keep the lights on ..............

and that is without having to recharge all the leccymobiles that we're all 'sposed to be changing over to in the coming decade, which have a 10t greater C-footprint to produce, than conventional vehicles churn out in their lifetimes

It’s a beast, blasted the stuck on concrete off my barrow and started on the concrete in the dumper skip as well. Proper job.

Only problem been pressure relive valve blew off so it’s got a bolt in it. But we don’t use it much as got two big diesel heat karcher ones at yard so only gets used on site

Yes we have a big Karcher steamer in yard. I want to mount an engine driven one to a flat shape 500l IBC so we can use it on trailer/forklift/Dmax Tray. Would like to go a bit bigger so I can play at a spot of drain jetting. 13hp/21lpm seems to be the sweet spot to aim for.

I have a towable bowser we use it with but been looking at drain betters as would be handy for blocked drains etc, have you seen any kits for them?

We use ours with suction from bowser rather than gravity

I hired a bowser one recently, right pain in the ass to move around. 1000mm x 1200mm half height IBC on steel pallet will be much easier (will baffle it ). I know nothing about jetting but keen to learn. Like the odd blocked drains and its something we get asked to do often.

Ideally you want to be topping up the ibc while you are jetting because 500 litres doesn’t last long when you are using 21 litres a min.

23 minutes roughly! Yes a clever man might fit a float valve in the top of the IBC. Or use a 1000 litre IBC, but that's a bit heavy the back of the Isuzu.

A lad I know for ...knocked it up in a hurry...I've a feeling he's on a water meter at home.. apparently it wasn't great to tow

bloody hell .. that's and adjustable tow bar on there .... amazed it hasn't collapsed with that sort of nose weight on it ..... or has he welded up the knuckles ??
any plod worth his number would pull that in an instant
you'd want to make sure they were full to overflowing
