Milwaukee battery wrench

bit late to the thread. I have the long reach 3/8" its decent something like 75nm of torque, while not a huge amount it still "locks off" so can use like a normal wrench till the tool can do the rest. Also have the m12 1/2" impact wrench which is very handy 330ish nm so undoes quite a lot and small enough to get into most places, then if thats not man enough and there is enough space also have the m18 impact wrench

I only use Milwaukee tools now after a bad spell with makitas eating gearboxes I have the 3/8 m18 impact gun and I have to say it's one of the best tools ever I was considering an angled driver or impact (currently use an air one but it's noisy and inconvenient) but I don't have any m12 stuff at present thinking more of a m12 pop rivet gun at present to do my landy fc body panels

Buy the riviter as a kit to get going, there's no going back 👍 👌

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
have had an air riveter for decades ... if you have more than five to put in you can't beat pulling a trigger ... a cordless one'd be good, but for the cost you really do need the use for it, I'd've thought  .......... like constantly rebuilding Landies :ROFLMAO:

Our m12 small impact gun failed this week after 7 years of daily commercial use… £70 to get a new one cant go wrong
That impressive. I killed two Makita in two years till switching to Milwaukee.

That’s a baby. I’ve got two of those, I’m surprised it’s up to what you need! Treat yourself to the m18 mid torque. Not much larger but way more power.

I have the 3/4” m18 big one also but that rarely comes out.

And now's the time to buy. Some decent deals about ...one would wonder if folk have excess stock🤔
Even better for those looking to buy 👍 mine was something like 230 quid, 2x 2 amp batteries (doesn't need bigger and in my opinion the bigger bats ruin the balance/feel) charger and box (not packout), 3 years ago.

My phone crashed as I was ordering it so I accidentally ordered 2, told my mate that he'd probably ordered himself a riviter, he said fine but only open 1 so we can check it out. Opened the box on the first one, picked it up, messaged him telling him he had indeed bought a riviter 😆 🤣 😂

We also have a 10 year old Gesipa which is great but over 3 times the price of the milwaukee when you buy 2 batteries! Obviously when we got the milwaukees how they'd compare to the gesipa was unknown, we find the milwaukees actually pull the rivet slightly quicker but the cycle time for both riviters is identical as you have to flick the used mandrel in with your finger on the milwaukee to get the next riviet in. No complaints about lifespan either, at 3 years old they're pulling like new 👍

I used to have an occasional job replacing plates on metal signs, half a dozen rivets per sign. Went through a couple of hand riveters that I thought would be decent, but weren't...
1 day doing that paid for the cordless one for me👍

We had a count up on a recent acoustic enclosure job, our small attenuators have 80+ rivets holding them together, 5 or 6 of them per enclosure sometimes, doesn't take long to justify 230 quid in those circumstances! Especially when you've got 2 of you starting at opposite ends with a healthy sense of competition 😆 🤣
Then having to use it for land rovering is a nice bonus 👌

2nd that for the 1/2in mid torque ...ruddy powerful for its size 👊

Have thought about getting a 1" battery impact gun but not yet decided who's is best, IR do a decent looking one but they don't have much of a range after that
