How old is the doosan dx10? Other than things you have mentioned has it been ok? Tempted to just stick with the kubota!

I wanted a true micro (710mm) with servos- discounted slightly more powerful machines such as a kobelco in favour of an e10 because of that. Plus residuals are supposed to be rock solid

I bought a used 2015 E10 back in April. While i was at the dealer he showed me how the edges of the boom etc are slightly different on newer ones so should be better on the paint.

If you have a half decent shed the bobcat can live in doors, it's not much bigger than a washing machine or two. I didn't drive a takeuchi but they are £1000 or £2000 more to buy and the finance was another £2000 on top. The tipping height isn't great . I can't see having more power being much use with the little weight you have. I haven't noticed this on diggers before but the tracks seam to really jam up with s**t on the E10.

Gravel will indeed stop them quickly- easy enough to lift a track and spin it backwards to clear it however. It certainly doesn't lack power (for a micro) when tracking, so I guess it's just jamming up as you say, cause it's so much smaller.
The worst bit about the E10 is the sliding blade extensions. They jam up with s**t on the quickest of jobs. Folding ones, although they suffer from play, would stilll be better in my book.

mate of mine had a new little Tak micro on hire and he was really impressed ... said no point in having a 1.5t ?!

The new micros do dig like an old 1.5t. However, they don't reach like an old 1.5t...and they sure as hell don't reach or dig like a modern 1.7t with piston pumps!

From the prices ive had the doosan, bobcat & takeuchi are all exactly the same price & the kubota is slightly more but looks the better quality machine.

Have you spoke to tve in Oxford about a e10? They were I think, a grand cheaper than bobcat of London. Also bobcat were doing 0%finance. Tak price I got was from some bloke in Southampton.

I would like a 1.7/1.9 tone next if I get a decent amount of digger work, I don't see the point in 1.5 tone. If I don't get the work I'll be after a cherry picker.

The blade extensions are the terrible.
They are either on or off as near enough impossible to quickly get them pushed all the way in.
I have manage to bend one a little as the damn things sit proud of the blade when trying to pick stone up from the blade.
Height is a pain as requires having to relocate to be able to clear material off the trailer

Kubota do the side lever version on the micro as well. I do like the e10 though

They were the first things i took off my machines. They are in the truck if i need to have full width blade but these days i cba to do much tracking about.

The pricing is hit and miss think mine was around 13.5 but I'm sure Joey got his for less than 13.
I'm sure the doosan has the dual acting breaker circuit and cooler as standard whereas the bobcat is an extra
The tb210r was the same price but at the time no interest free although I'm sure I heard Willowbrook at one point we're doing interest free. It was the mix of 40mm narrower, 30mm pins and interest free that swung the doosan for me
