I asked the local tool rep for a wall calander for the office... it wasnt work safe :D
I try explaining page 3 and lads mags to young lads on site and its hard to explain the concept. They were a massive thing culturally. Keeley hazel Michelle Marsh etc. It was just normal to see a big pair of knockers in your day on a page somewhere. The daily sport used to crack me up.

I remember the apprentice finding a daily sport down the back of a van seat he had to clean out and was amazed by it. I was more amazed that we are now at the stage where teenage boys have never seen printed boobs.
They will never have the joy of finding hedgerow porn.

Takes some beating TBF

Was thinking this week I've seen all sorts of stuff and these fancy electronic pads that look like paper etc....soon enough you see folk back to pen and paper. I use a mixture. For meetings outlook is good as it gets everyone on same page but daily stuff still a pad ...or pads when I forget it 🤣
I seem to end up doing both 😄 I'll quickly jot stuff down as I remember or when working out materials for jobs as I'm going through it in my head then end up typing out a list of bits to order or a list of jobs to do on site.
And I still miss important stuff 🫣

I am looking for envelope I used when I purchased a second hand balcony and staircase. I think I put it in the box with all the bolts and fixings that I currently can’t find!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️😢😢😢

What's everyone's go to method of remember stuff. I use calender reminders on my phone but I also leave emails as unread in inbox or email myself sometimes. Like I will read an email then if it needs action set it back to unread.
Exactly my method of operation

Had a clear out of her granddad's garage and found a load of mid 1960's parade magazines

Got a nice surprise on the doormat when I got in from work. ☺️ No wonder my neighbours are jealous of me
