maybe ill stick with makita then, there half the price and 6 joules less.
That's annoying, how long have you had it?Our Hilti breaker (AVR 095?) had just had the service light come on again. Last time was £400 repair, and now they say its not worth working on and trying to sell me a new one. Great tool but don't think I will buy Hilti new.
That's what Google told me, ordered new ones but the old ones look fine. Changed anyway but made no difference.I think the light comes on when it needs new brushes. It might be a cheap repair.
If the armature is goosed then it is £400 on the hilti.
The new armature for my makita was only like £140

Service light just came on on my 11kg Bosch and it won't run. I've rung around a load of places to get it repaired and no one can even look at it for 4 weeks. By the time I hire a replacement for 4-6 weeks I will have spent half as much as a new one would cost
It's only about 18 months old
Our Bosch SDS max 110v has been a solid bit of kit for 11 years . Think it’s had one repair? Our Bosch SDS max tools have been really reliable tbh. And they get a hell of a beating.
Yeah I expected much better, I'm sure it's a small fix but don't have the time/inclination to fiddle with it at the moment. Our Bosch SDS max tools have been really reliable tbh. And they get a hell of a beating.
apart from the horrendous vibes, but for infrequent useI have a titan 30kg breaker from screwfix and I can't fault it had it about 10 years still going well
I wouldn’t ask an employee to use one!apart from the horrendous vibes, but for infrequent use..... they're a very competent breaker
me neitherI wouldn’t ask an employee to use one!

Yes I have one too for rough work. It’s done more than I expected for the money it cost. I have a Hilti too for more prolonged jobs where anti vibe matters but the titan still has a useI have a titan 30kg breaker from screwfix and I can't fault it had it about 10 years still going well
Yeah I watched this vid when I did the brushes as it's basically the same tool. I'll have a look through some of his other videos.I watch a lot of this guys videos. Quite interesting, he seems to know his kit..
