Hi All, I am new here and just registered. I recently purchased a 9MWR and am looking for some information. Does anyone know how large a flotation tire I can fit onto the machine?
I own a tree farm here in Canada and I want to use the excavator to run tree spades and load trees. We deal with mud and I would like to get the largest tire possible without extensive modifications.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the sizes. From what I can tell that is the stock fitments. So about 980mm tall from the factory. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with say a 550/45-22.5? This would put the overall diameter of the tire at 1070mm instead of 980mm. Is there clearance issues? Anything else I should be concerned with?

Oh I see, would the 11 MWR rims and tyres fit, I think they are bigger.

Best bet is get yourself along to a decent tyre dealer/fitter, they will advise!

From what I have seen the guys in the Netherlands quite often fit larger tyres onto thier machines, from what I have seen they have fitted the 600/40 22.5 Alliance from the 11MWR on 9MWR's a number of times, an example:

Can you do 0% finance over 50 years please?
I could manage it over 25 if that helps 😲.
I really need to get down to have a play with one at some point if you still have them at your demo ground

We do have a couple of excavators, an 8MCR and a 9MWR however they are both on a tour of Ireland at the moment and then going to Scotland and heading back down, not expecting them back in the Midlands until the new year I would have thought now.

I love em..... but financially it's a non starter sadly.
