I hope y'all don't mind if I load up some my doings in rural VA.
I helped a neighbor get his yard back to a point he could control it again. It's a green time of year right now.
"Don't mess my fence up!"

Put the yuccas over the pool fence then pushed the pile into the edge of the woods.

That is my field in the background, and the far back corner is where I got my last bear(and many deer over the years)
I pulled up some bushes too.

I was able to pop these up without going to the other side. Notice all the poison ivy on the left(light green leaves).

I'm trying to figure out what I want in an excavator trailer so I knocked this little POS with some stuff I had sitting around the house.(you can laugh, it's ok)

It was a nice day to be working outside! I cleared some other spots for him but forgot to take the after pics. Only wildlife was this fence lizard.

Thanks for reading and remember I'm kinda new at this so feel free to hit me with any tips/suggestions.

you might want to wipe all the excess grease off you ram ends ... like a magnet for dust and will find its way into the bushes.

These are some of the biggest around, were planted 25yrs ago. I took one home and might grab another off the edge of the woods.

I cleaned it up after this job, got a big blob on me while working near the woods....
Still figuring the greasing out. Its annoying when grease starts coming out one side, then it takes a couple more pumps before I can see grease getting to the far side.

Don't worry about the grease coming out pump until you hear a crack sound or see any movement in the grease little and often is the secret to greasing. I'd only put 1-2 pumps a pin in a 1.5t machine

My Moms been gardening this same spot for 40yrs(damn good at it too). It's been staying alittle too went I guess 40yrs of plants and tilling had lowered it compared to the yard around. I probably didn't need the laser for this, but if ya got it why not use it. Dug a slanted trench from the lowest corner to the ditch, then a very slightly slanted trench along the edge of her garden.

Getting set up.

I tried the keep the grass as grass.(although this is mainly ground ivy)

Good black soil.

Gotta put the sock on it then back fill.

Hopefully she will have a less soggy garden. Right now there are two rows of silver queen sweet corn planted. The rest of this area is going to be mostly sweet corn planted in rows a week or two apart so it doesn't come in all at once. Expecting the last frost tomorrow then the tomato's and other stuff will go it.

I do some wood carving( hand tools/knife finish) with trees/limbs from my woods. Made this spreader from a billit split from a tulip poplar tree trunk.

Baked in the oven to darken and make the grain look better. Tulip poplar starts white and turns yellow over time if not baked.

It's good to have hobbies when you're not supposed to go places.(not that I do anyway.....)

Be lucky on the smaller takeuchi i think the track levers are too close to the seat to make it work.

Seeing as there is no cab glass the pedals could be tilted forwards and a lip put on the back for your heel to pull on
Would probably be more comfortable than modern hitachis

forgot to say earlier ... the wheels on that trailer are not gonna like that amount of weight on them I wouldn't think ??

Probably not, this is more for a test run to see if I like using it with the excavator. I already had this thing with a plastic tub so I built a metal top for it. Maximum size for my truckels trailer and proper weight distribution. I'll put this behind a mower for yard crap if I decide an excavator trailer isnt worth it. If I like it I'll make a proper lower portion for it and put the tub back on the weak one.

have you considered using one of these as a trailer body .....

I assume you'd have something like it in the states? ..
been looking for a couple of cheap ones for ages and rapidly reaching the conclusion that a couple of new ones're going to have to be acquired, as s/hand are making nearly new prices
Dylan ( @diggerjones ) made up a trailer with one for behind his lil' traccy ...... want one to go behind one of our little garden tractors ... easier than filling/pushing half a dozen barrow loads about

I did Danny well the dealer did ! Basically the cover of the aux pedals we welded onto the little stubs on the tracking levers ! Simple but effective I’ve added new Carpet since
