Yeah I’m running secondhand kit I was doing some site work on a site where they wanted kit to be 3 years old or newer I still can’t get my head around why that was? I guessed it’s something to do with breakdowns but new kit still breaks! My argument was it’s not like I’m turning up on site with an old hymac with no windows and leaks like a colander. But going back to pricing having come from an agricultural background at first I thought being the cheapest would get me loads of work…it didn’t! I found I was only under cutting myself most of the time but pricing fairly and doing a good job has found me well. Just having a tilt rotator is another thing to price in! Thanks for all the input chaps been nice to not get ridiculed for asking questions like you get on most forums!
